Welcome to studentNAVS

CALLING ALL FRESHERS!

Nick Pollard, director of Damaris, says "Starting at uni is a bit like bungee-jumping: it's exciting, it's scary and it involves a lot of hanging about." His advice to new students is " But don't hang about too long: join a Christian group and another form of student society as soon as possible, and stick with them until you feel at home"

There are Navigator student groups in twelve university cities and NAVS would be an excellent place to grow as a Christian whilst at uni.

Each local group provides a place for Christians and the spiritually curious to engage with God. You can find out more about studentNAVS in your area via the Where section.

Feel free to browse around the site. Check out our resources, meet our 'Connect' workers, see what other people have said or find out more about the wider work of The Navigators UK.

fresh "The first five weeks of university life are make or break for many Christian students. In Fresh Krish Kandiah delivers daily, bite-sized inspirations & challenges around the themes of Faith, Relationships, Evangelism, Study and Holiness."

galvanise galvanise 2008 "We want to stir up the nation - students, graduates, parents, churches, chaplaincies and student organisations - to pray that God will transform our universities"

Interested in Christianity?
Each studentNavs group offers a safe place in which to explore your spiritual questions and take a look at Christianity. There are small groups which use materials such as The Alpha Course and GladYouAsked. You can also meet with someone on a one to one basis to discuss your questions if you wish.
