Where will you be watching the world cup this summer?
Come and join AFC Navs on our tour of Tanzania. We'll be renewing footballing rivalries with our friends from Soweto Stars FC and playing football in the shadow of Kilimanjaro..! We'll also be coaching and doing practical work with school children and street kids from the Amani Childrens home. Best of all we'll be organising and playing in our very own world cup tournament in Morogoro! In the evenings we'll watch world cup matches on a big screen with our opponents! So, if you love football, are fit, adventurous and want to do something amazing and worthwhile with your summer, then come and join the tour!
Football not your thing?
No matter! We are pleased to announce that there will be a non-footballing option to the tour in 2010. You will have the chance to work with street kids at the Amani Children's Home as well as teaching in schools and undertaking some practical projects. In the past practical projects have included painting a rural school, decorating a young offenders institution and digging foundations in the burning hot sun! You'll need to be up for anything, able to work as part of a team and be up for having a full on African experience !
Provisional dates for the tour are June 18th-July 11th, but these are TBC.
